Jennie Westergren grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and enjoyed being a home-school kid. Graduating early from High School she started working full time at Dairy Queen to earn money for college. Making some unwise choices in life led her to Corpus Christi, TX where God has blessed her in spite of those choices and led her to Mike and marriage in 2008. While dating, getting married, and having three boys; she earned her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Social Work and graduated when her youngest was 6 weeks old.
Jennie has a love for kids and the neighbors think she runs a daycare. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband and boys, read, hike in the beauty of the Colorado Mountains, and watch the neighbor kids play outside; sometimes joining in.
"Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's... Stand firm, hold you position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf!" 2 Chronicles 20:15&17. This scripture has meant the world to me and the hope that we have in God to fight our battle for us, is a great comfort to me.
