Parent/Student Handbook

The Parent/Student Handbook provides important information to parents and to students regarding YCA, finances, practical administrative issues, parent involvement, lunches, academic information, discipline, dress code, and contact information. While much of this information is available on the website, this handbook puts it all in one place for the convenience of parents and students.

Student Dress Code
This section of the Parent/Student Handbook is printed separately for the convenience of parents and students. As a general interpretation, if an item is not addressed in the student dress code, it is most likely not appropriate to wear to school. Any questions should be addressed to the school office.

Middle School Academic Planning Guide
The Middle School Academic Planning Guide gives a description of all core courses and electives available to middle school students. Parents should review this guide before signing up for electives.

Cub Scout Pack 226 Parent Guidebook
This parent guidebook gives an orientation to parents who want their boys involved in Cub Scouts. Pack 226 is an extracurricular activity and ministry of Yorktown Christian Academy. This family guidebook assists both boys and their parents with how Troop 226 operates. Troop 226 is an extracurricular activity and ministry of Yorktown Christian Academy. This family guidebook assists both girls and their parents with how Troop 356 operates. Troop 356 is an extracurricular activity and ministry of Yorktown Christian Academy.
