Through the Outdoor Adventure Program,
YCA Lions seek to introduce students to non-competitive active outdoor lifestyles using experiences that provide personal development, environmental understanding and stewardship, memorable adventures, and team building.
YCA Lions adventures are open to YCA students in grades 6-12 and adults who are registered leaders in the YCA Scouting units and all YCA teachers. This program is also open to homeschool students.
Students and adults participant in over night camping trips, generally on a Friday and Saturday, where they begin to learn the following basic skills and participate in various events. All skills and events do not occur on every camping trip. Participants may attend several campouts to pick up additional skills.

Note: Each campout is limited to 8 students and 6 adults. Reservations are not complete until the following items have been submitted: Activity Consent Form, Medical Record Form, and the non-refundable campout fee.
